Dog Boarding
Dog Boarding
We offer boarding 365 days a year. While boarding, your dog will play during the day and have access to their own individual suite for nap times. We have a grassy outdoor play area for their enjoyment, which is always supervised by a resort member of staff. The play areas are pest controlled monthly.
Group Play
Most dogs enjoy socializing in groups, and we provide a fun and safe environment for them to play. We understand that each dog is unique in his or her temperament, so for the safety and security of all our guests a social assessment is required for dogs that are participating in group play. If your dog is not suitable for group play, or you choose for them not to participate, they will receive the same play time but on an individual basis.
Sleeping
Dogs from the same family can stay together or board separately. All dogs enjoy a bed time treat and music to settle them down before the night lights go on. Familar bedding can be brought from home for further reassurance. All we ask is that it is washed or cleaned before being brought to the resort.
Feeding
We feed twice a day at 8am and 4pm. Please bring your own food to avoid upset tummies. However, we can provide food at a cost of $5 per day. Feeding times can be altered to suit individual requirements. We also have a fridge and microwave for your convenience.
Medication
Oral Medications and ointments will be administered on request. However, we ask that you provide detailed instructions as to when and how medicines should be given as well as your veterinarian's contact information. An extra charge will be made for medications. This will be $2 per day for up to 2 medications and $4 for more than 2 medications.Should an emergency occur, we will take your pet to our local vet, who is located 8 minutes away.
Vaccinations
For the protection of all, our canine guest are required to have current vaccinations for Rabies, DHLPP and Bordetella. We recommend Bordetella be administered every 6 months. All vaccinations must be administered and records sent to the resort at least 7 days prior to boarding. Please upload using the pet portal.
Should your dog not follow a typical immunization regime, we require a letter from a veterinarian explaining the situation. Vaccinations less than 72 hours prior to boarding are not acceptable, as immunizations require a length of time to be effective. Problems with vaccine reactions are also averted by this policy.
Flea and Tick Preventatives
All guests must also be current on a flea and tick preventive. Panacea recommends Frontline Plus or K-9 Advantix. We check all incoming guests for fleas and ticks at check-in. If we find evidence of parasites, guests will be given a flea bath and/or flea and tick preventive at additional cost.
